Our Story
Christian Douglass Group was originally established by David Baldwin on the 1st January 2004. The business has prospered by focusing on providing a highly personal financial planning service to David’s own clients and those of our sister company Christian Douglass LLP. Over the years the businesses have remained in the same offices, sharing certain infrastructure, but have otherwise remained completely independent of one another
Based on Jordan Street in Deansgate, Manchester, the financial planning team has gradually expanded with the key focus of providing the highest quality service in all aspects of financial advice to our growing number of clients. The core team members have all worked together for much longer than the company has been established and the key driver of everyone in the business is to treat our clients as individuals who have their own needs and goals rather than as numbers who require a cookie cutter solution.
The investment advice industry is often more preoccupied with box ticking and acquiring further contributions to the point that delivering outcomes for the investors becomes a secondary concern. At Christian Douglass Group, we have cultivated relationships with investment managers that share our outcome based investment philosophy and are dedicated to providing results to the investor in all markets, as opposed to providing greater fees for the investment company. This combined with our expert knowledge of investment products, risk management and returns optimisation means that our clients can be confident of our proposition and that their families financial future is in the right hands.
